I’m an author and travel writer living in glorious South Devon and I spend my free time swimming from the beaches of Torbay and on the wilds of Dartmoor. I also loves to travel and am always looking for interesting, quirky and stunning places to swim across the planet; which is what this blog is about.

I work as a freelance travel journalist for Pride Life Magazine, amongst other publications. I am also a manager at Torre Abbey in Torquay, which is conveniently located a short stroll from the beach – perfect for a lunchtime dip…

I have written several swimming guide books with my fellow author, Sophie Pierce, including Wild Swimming Walks: Dartmoor and South Devon. We are currently working on a follow-up called Wild Swimming Walks: Cornwall, which is due out in the spring of 2021.

I have also written several other guide books including Agatha Christie’s Devon and The Mayflower: An Introduction.
